I’m beyond excited to start organizing Montreal Girl Geek Dinners. You’re a tough act to follow, but thank goodness you’ll still be around to give your input. :)

Hey Tanya,

It sounds like asking the right question has led you to explore how your body is feeling right now. Did you know that your body is your subconscious? Did you know that by giving your body attention when it aches it will speak back to you? That is if you do not let the chatter interfere.

I healed my allergies and calmed severe pain by simply giving my body attention. And as you learned, by asking just the right question.

Awesome pics! So refreshing…. I agree with you, posers are such bores…. However (you knew it was coming right?!) I do like the concept of branding as it forces you to figure out what your skills are and what make syou unique. In that matter I think people who are true “brands” do have this sort of miraculous presence felt in the company of mystical people.

I will reconsider how I suggest to the managers I coach to “brand” themselves though, you have some real good points….

Hi Tanya -

Thank you for the nice words about my recent post – it is one of the hardest things to overcome once a community is successful – but really critical that the community manager not get too sucked in to the hype/lovefest that may be going on so that they can see the community somewhat objectively and from an outsider’s perspective.

I’m 100% with you on the fact that companies and individuals need to be more self-aware of their needs and not mix too many business goals together. Clarity of need is one of the most important things in business and the more clarity you have and can communicate, the easier you will get what you want. Unfortunately… there is a lot of mixing of skills, business outcomes, experience, etc. in the social space right now but I am starting to see more distinctions emerge, which I think is a good thing. Hmmm…. not sure I was being very clear there! #irony
